Misplaced
by Angelina Wentz Memon

Misplaced is a true story about Angelina Wentz Memon’s search for identity and her undying hopes of coming to America. Separated from her father (an American solider during the Vietnam War) three days after her birth, Angelina faces impossible odds until the day arrives and she is finally reunited with him in the United States. Angelina tells what a half-breed in Vietnam had to endure. Conversations with her fellow Amerasian friends forge a bond and the realization "Amerasians have got to stop playing victims because nobody cares unless we do." Her heart and compassion for others and her ability to deal with adversity, not only made her a stronger person but it helped her find her purpose in life.

Angelina Wentz Memon’s candid delivery of her life experiences in Misplaced shows how a person’s determination and love will help one overcome any obstacle.
