Stakes Is High was a song by De La Soul and quite frankly stakes are high. Our liberty is under attack by those who are supposed to uphold the Constitution of the United States. A Constitution that is unique because we are the only country on the planet that has its act together. Well, we did. This administration as well as a few others are responsible for our current situation. The lack of leadership skills is quite dumbfounding. The passive-aggressive approach doesn't work with other nations as well as the ones you are to protect. I've told my friend Eric on several occasions "I feel like I'm back in high school." People can say what they want about Bush 2, he treated everyone with respect. But he, his father, Clinton and the current administration are part of the reason why we have a serious problem on our southern border. If you say "it has nothing to do with me," you're wrong. You're American right? Right. It has everything to do with you. I'm not going to spoon feed you. I'll point you in the right direction. And if you're one of those bandwagon jumpers running around saying this immigration bill is like Nazi Germany, read the following. This article and links contained within it are SCOREBOARD.

I support SB 1070. I like to say those who are protesting Arizona state law (which is not an anti-immigration law), a law that upholds Federal law (since 1940) are intellectually dishonest. But the cries "it violates civil rights," "it racially profiles and is racist," leave me with no other choice but to go old school. I don't know how to apply the three levels of mental retardation to these individuals. Are they morons, idiots or imbeciles? Is it appropriate to diagnose these individuals as all three stages? I digress.
Many who have spoken negatively have no connection to Arizona. None. And if you believe drinking Arizona Iced Tea is one, think again. As stated in the first paragraph, SB 1070 upholds Federal law. Most were unaware of this fact because, a) they believe everything the state run media says and, b) have done zero research to validate or debunk what the media has been reporting about SB 1070. If these individuals looked into it, they would see the media has been manifesting lies about SB 1070 repeatedly therefore being guilty as every politician, entertainer, moron, idiot and imbecile that has spoken out against this. How anti-American for these Barnum and Bailey rejects to support breaking a Federal law.
Those who throw out the weak-kneed argument "we were all immigrants," I agree but we weren't all illegal. And I'm not speaking about the Mayflower landing in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Many of you probably don't know about the Plymouth landing unless someone on American Idol was singing about it. Your grandparents or great grandparents might have been among the many who came here through Ellis Island or Angel Island respectively. This is where I agree with "we're all immigrants."
There was and still is a protocol to follow to become a naturalized citizen. There is a protocol to follow concerning visas. Now you'll say, "the system is flawed." Again, I agree but I'm not here to discuss fixing a system that needs serious upgrades. I'm not here to discuss American businesses who hire illegals to work under minimum wage with no benefits and under the table. I'm not here to discuss how illegal immigrants are exploited by their own kind for monetary gain or to run cocaine across the border. I'm not here to discuss how I want immigrants to emigrate here to become naturalized citizens. I am writing to state I support SB 1070 because I have read it, digested it and understand it. If you have developed superb reading comprehension skills like me, you will agree with me and others who support the bill. If you lack such skills most likely your argumentation skills are severely retarded. For example, consider those who compare Arizona to Nazi Germany. This is not an argument. It's blasphemous and insensitive to Jewish people as well as others who survived what this regime of hate did to them. It shows the individual has no grasp of history and is absolutely pathetic.
Securing our borders has always been important. Unfortunately going back to the first Bush Administration, this vital aspect of this country's well-being has been severely overlooked. This is where we are today. Our current government has other endeavors it would rather implement. There are kidnappings, home invasions, drug cartels and people being killed in Arizona. Protecting the American people is evidently way down on the totem pole. Illegals who want a better life in America by coming through the front door, we should all support. This is part of the American way. Helping others. Illegals sneaking in the back door, this is what SB 1070 should take care of. Governor Jan Brewer put her foot down because of the inaction of the Obama Administration. The Governor should have 100 percent of the support of the American people. She most certainly has mine.
